Ancestral Voices

Rooted. Embodied. Alive.

A vocal class devoted to reconnecting with the deeper human voice.

When we connect to its magic and potency, we awaken our full potential - transforming how we connect, create, and show up in the world.

We explore different dimensions of sound, emotion, and expression.

When we sing together, we create harmony, presence, and belonging beyond language.

The practice draws from Sufi, Hindustani, Mongolian, Balkan, and other traditional vocal lineages alongside Western classical and contemporary techniques, integrating somatic awareness, mindfulness, and modern voice science to help you open your sound with ease and authenticity.

Kind Words

I really loved her instruction and how it opened up everyone. The energy and the vibe was absolutely amazing and it really is a beautiful way to find our voice. I appreciate her so much for what she’s doing here, and what she’s doing for the planet.

Suzanne M.

I feel vocally and spiritually released! I love singing, I’ve sung for years. I’ve had negative feedback and that shied me away so I stuck to shower singing, and this made me more confident!

I really loved this workshop, it was really amazing. It helped me open my voice, my inner voice, voice of child, and I felt my soul.

I just experienced such a blissful release of emotions and energy through sound, music and movement. When I was a child I was told never to sing, so my whole life I’ve been restrained about letting my voice out, and this was so liberating and it was so beautiful.

She helped shed away the chains around the voice, lift the sounds out of your body, and help connect to your own potential. It was very inspiring and I feel uplifted afterwards.

It allowed me to express emotions that were pent up. Though the music, through the healing, through the singing, I felt connection, I felt love, I felt peace.

Tending to the Voice

This can be a lifelong practice of care, one that shapes how we live, relate, and create. Because the voice is at the intersection of breath, body, emotion, and attention, tending to it naturally brings the whole into coherence.

Embodied Awareness

Vocalizing reveals where we are disconnected or alive. By refining how we breathe, sense, and sound, we develop a more intimate relationship with our system's subtle intelligence, its wisdom and nuance, so we can access and embody our full selves with greater ease, precision, and power.

Attuned Presence

Vocal practice trains deep listening and responsiveness, supporting harmonious presence in stillness and movement, in relationship and daily life.

Expansive Clarity

The voice gives form to what often remains unexpressed. Through sound, we learn to move energy rather than suppress it, releasing old patterns and blockages that no longer serve and clearing space within. This strengthens our capacity to express boldly, connect authentically, and meet change with openness and stability.
