A Weekly Vocal Class
A welcoming space for all voices and levels. Each week we explore a different dimension of the voice. Together we'll learn how to open the voice for optimal resonance through supported breath and singing, develop tunefulness and musicality through global traditional practices, and release vocal tension and blockages through somatic listening and embodied awareness. Through guided exercises and spontaneous singing in circle, we cultivate vocal play and establish a sustainable weekly practice - so sounding becomes both joyful and skillful.
Guided by Uyanga Bold, an internationally acclaimed, classically trained Mongolian vocalist with over 25 years of experience performing on world stages and in film and television. The approach integrates Mongolian, Sufi, Hindustani, Balkan, and Shamanic vocal and wisdom lineages with Western classical and contemporary techniques.
No singing experience necessary.
